                                          Has Education in our country become a luxury?

Education is indeed a most important part of life of any child/student. Since youth of the country is considered as its future, it is really necessary that every child receives an opportunity to quality and affordable education. But what happens when the right to education is withdrawn? what happens when education instead of reality becomes a dream of many children belonging to middle class and poor families?

What happens when education becomes a LUXURY?

In the current world, our Education, Academics ,Qualification, hold an important place while deciding our future. Specially, when it is country like India, where having a degree brings you respect, it plays a vital role.

But what if this opportunity of seeking education is snatched?

 This is what exactly is happening in our country! In state of Haryana, its government has increased the fees of MBBS government college from nearly, Rs.50K per annum to Rs.10 lacs per annum. Is it justice done to students who wish to pursue MBBS and work their fingers to the bone to fulfil their dream? Is it possible for middle class and poor families to be able to afford this expensive education?

Of course this unbelievable hike has snatched the dreams of many students who had wanted to pursue their dream of becoming doctor.

Another case that can be taken into the consideration is, 

Aishwarya reddy from Telangana state , a brilliant student who was pursuing BSc. in Mathematics committed suicide.

Reason for such a harsh step? 

She felt herself as a burden to her family for a very reason of FEES. Amid pandemic, it has really been a difficult task for middle class and poor families to pay fees for their children. As it has affected many lives, one of them was Aishwarya reddy. 

Now the main question that arises is ,

• Education is now only available for rich students? 
• Are average ones left with no choice and chance of development?
• Will this step taken by Haryana government affect other states as well?
